Stuff. Things. Updates of that nature

Nothing terribly interesting going on here. If all goes as planned (HA! 'cause that always goes well) I'll be starting on my masters degree early next year. Of course the plan also requires Baby Boomers to either retire on time or die from the dreaded ManBirdPig Flu. Time will tell.

I haven't been drawing a whole lot but I'm still writing with the intention of doing another webcomic. Mostly I've been catching up on reading Victorian novels thanks to my obsession with Project Gutenberg. It must have been nice to live in a time period when everything was thought to be explained or explainable. You know, aside from the rampant epidemic disease and incessant poverty.

Dammit Disney was right...

...it IS a small world after all. I just found out recently that my stop motion animation professor from Scadvannah is now teaching here in Tucson. I got into a discussion on the futility of having an art degree with a coworker (who's currently discovering this as he finishes up a degree in graphic design) and SCAD came up. Funny old world sometimes. She was an awesome teacher so hopefully she's being put to better use.

I'd like to say SCAD was a worthwhile experience but if I really thought that I wouldn't be back in college now perusing something else. Before art was what I thought I wanted, I considered majoring in English so that's what I'm doing. The plan is to finish up a second bachelors and then get my masters in library science. Sure it could end up equally futile but at least I'm DOING something about it.

After all, what's a little more debt, right?

Stencil parking signs on 8" penguins.

That is all.
