Stuff. Things. Updates of that nature

  • Reading: John Dies at the End
Nothing terribly interesting going on here. If all goes as planned (HA! 'cause that always goes well) I'll be starting on my masters degree early next year. Of course the plan also requires Baby Boomers to either retire on time or die from the dreaded ManBirdPig Flu. Time will tell.

I haven't been drawing a whole lot but I'm still writing with the intention of doing another webcomic. Mostly I've been catching up on reading Victorian novels thanks to my obsession with Project Gutenberg. It must have been nice to live in a time period when everything was thought to be explained or explainable. You know, aside from the rampant epidemic disease and incessant poverty.

Shweeeeet. Good luck on that master's thing. :thumbsup:

And I'm totally voting on the disease too.

Yeah... the whole art degree thing didn't pan out quite the way I hoped (freelance art = retail jobs to pay the bills) so I've been working on getting some more ed-u-mah-ca-shun. I spent last year as an English major at the University of Arizona and I'm hoping to have my masters in Information Resources and Library Science completed in a couple more years.

Then all I need is access to an occult library and my own team of vampire slaying hotties. :)

I'm actually back in Arizona as of... er... 3 1/2 or so years now? I've lived all over the damn place but it's where I'm from originally and where a lot of my family is.

Tell me about it. But I just can't bring myself to go back to school. I don't miss it. Nonetheless good luck!

And for some reason, I totally thought you were in California...maybe you were NEVER in California and I just made that up ^_^;

I felt the same way at first but I refuse to be in my 30's working the same craptastic jobs I've had since I started working at 14. If that means more school, then...*shrug*

.................

I was living in California right after college. I moved back to Arizona when my dad's health issues reached a point where it seemed like coming home was the right thing to do.

...Sigh...Don't remind me! But then I wasn't working a craptastic job at 14...because I wasn't working at all.
